Our Easter Excitement!

We were so excited to have Brett's first Easter Egg hunt. So after dinner I had Jon's cousin Jordan, Hide the eggs. Jon dressed Brett in play clothes and brought him outside. Now mind you I had prepped Brett for what I thought would be all the new experiences, So that he would not freak out when it came time for the "hunt." Well I forgot one thing, the Grass. Brett is not used to the grass. This was Brett's first experience with it. As he is crawling around, his is just kind of whimpering(picture on the right). He wouldn't even touch the egg. We decided that it would be best to take our little hunt inside. Jordan had lots of fun hunting all of the eggs he just put out. Once inside Brett had no problem finding his eggs. He had a blast, except for when we had to help him put his eggs in the bucket. Yeah, he didn't like that at all and he let us know about it. I have a little video clip(sadly to big to upload) to prove my point, but it also shows you how excited he is. All in all we had so much fun just watching Brett play with his easter eggs.

It is always nice to have some family close by to share holidays with. Jordan just put in his mission papers last Sunday. We are going to miss him, but there is no doubt that he will make a great missionary. We are so excited for him.
