We have had to be very creative with lunches lately. The more picky Brett gets, the more creative we have to get. Hence our new friend, Sammy Sandwich.
I remember my mom making us "snack lunches" and she would use the muffin tins (the 6 ones) and she would put something different in each one but there would always be a little bit of sandwich (1/4) in 2 of them. My boys like ritz crackers with cheese and and some lunch meat and they make their own sandwiches. Every mom can always use more ideas right. We had a pediatrician remind us that 2 year old don't need that much and if we get them to eat a good meal once a week then we are doing well. It didn't mean we didn't keep trying but it did take away the guilt.
