Kate at 8 Months

Our Beautiful Bug at 8 MonthsMan, I love that smile!!

Here is what Kate was up to in February.

*Started eating steamed veggies off the table.

* Stood on the first step of our stairs.

*Reached out to mom.

*Fell down the stairs, so we bought a spiffy gate to keep her off the stairs.

*Had her first chiropractic visit.

*Walking along the furniture.

Kate has learned that that smile will get her anything. We are in so much trouble.

Water Pollution

We went to the zoo a few weeks ago with Mom and Dad Wierschke. We to the aquarium and they had this display on Water pollution. Here are the little facts that go along with the display.

When Brett saw this last pictures he exclaimed, "Where's the toilet paper?"

Pride and Prejudice

Jon bought my favorite version of Pride and Prejudice for one of our dates over Christmas Break. The great thing is that he will sit and watch the whole five hours with me, as long as we can fast forward through any part in which Mr. Collins is talking!

Sippy Cup

I found Kate the other day with Brett's sippy. I didn't think too much about it until I found it empty. So we bought Kate her own sippy, she loves it!!

Wonder of Wonders

Miracle of Miracles. I know that by posting this I just might jinx my good luck, but Kate has slept through the night two nights in a row.

Normally, I wouldn't be that excited, but two night in a row is pretty crazy. She is still pretty sick with croup(Sorry for those who didn't know). Both kids not only have croup, and they both just came down with a cold on top of it. Good thing is that both are sleeping through the night, which means sleep for mom and dad.

I have gotten so much sleep that I feel like a nice mom again. Sad but true, lack of sleep makes me a very mean mommy. I hated being a mean mommy, but I couldn't do anything about it. I am so glad that I am getting more sleep, now all I have to do is catch up. Eight Months is a long time to be sleep deprived.

Playing Together

I have been waiting to post these pictures(this one and the one of Brett feeding Kate), because I didn't have them on the laptop. When I went upload them, they were already sitting in a post. They have a blast together.I love my kids, I really do.
